The club optioned outfielder Noelvi Marte to Louisville after Sunday's loss to the Angels, paving a path for Hinds to make his season debut in the big leagues. The 25-year-old struggled in 15 big league games last season but has mashed to the tune of a .354 average with five homers, 16 RBI, and a 1.246 OPS through 13 games with Louisville to begin the season.
