Ketel Marte homers twice in Monday loss to Orioles

Ketel Marte went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs, but the Diamondbacks suffered a 9-7 loss to the Orioles on Monday.

Marte took Orioles' starter, Dean Kramer, deep on the very first pitch of the game to jump start the Arizona offense. He homered again in his next at bat - with one out in the third - to give the Diamondbacks a 2-0 lead. His first-inning home run was the second time in three games he led off with a bomb. The second baseman upped his season average to .212 (14-for-66) with four home runs and nine runs batted in. He's hit safely in six of his last eight games as he continues to break out of his slow start to the year.
