Paul Skenes allows one hit over six innings Monday

Paul Skenes allowed one run on one hit, walked one, and struck out six to improve to 3-1 on the season as the Pirates hammered the Nationals, 16-5, on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Skenes has put his Opening Day disaster well behind him at this point as he spun another gem on Monday against Washington. The righthander allowed just one hit - a solo home run by CJ Abrams in the first inning - before retiring 15 of the final 16 batters he faced. Skenes has been dominant over his last three starts, posting a 1.56 ERA while limiting opponents to just six hits over 17.1 innings. He'll take a 4.00 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP into his next scheduled start, slated for Saturday against the Rays.
