Framber Valdez excellent in no-decision Tuesday versus Royals

Tigers left-hander Framber Valdez tossed seven innings of one-run ball in a no-decision Tuesday against the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
In fact, the Tigers took Valdez off the hook from a tough-luck loss with a two-run eighth inning in a 2-1 win over the Royals on Tuesday. The southpaw allowed just three hits and two walks while striking out just one on the evening. Nonetheless, the outing represents a big bounce-back effort after Valdez was tagged for eight earned runs in his previous start against the Twins. Valdez will take a 3.75 ERA into his next scheduled start on Sunday in Boston against the Red Sox.
