Willi Castro (hand) leaves early Wednesday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Thu, Apr 16th 7:03am EDT

Willi Castro (hand) was removed from Wednesday's game in the fourth inning after he was hit in the right hand by Astros' starter, Spencer Arrighetti, in Colorado's 3-1 loss to Houston.

Fantasy Impact:

Castro was the second Rockies' player to leave early as Troy Johnston (thigh) was also hit by an Arrighetti pitch and left in the third. According to Colorado manager, Warren Schaeffer, x-rays came back negative on Castro's hand, but that it was swollen. Castro drove in Colorado's only run of the game with an RBI double in his only at bat in the second inning. He's hitting .214 (12-for-56) with a home run and eight runs batted in through 16 games. Consider Castro day-to-day for now, but he should remain off the fantasy radar regardless.
