Troy Johnston (thigh) was hit by a pitch from Astros' starter, Spencer Arrighetti, and was replaced in the third inning of Colorado's 3-1 loss to Houston.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnston was hit in the thigh by a pitch in the first inning of Wednesday's loss. He did remain in the game, drew a walk in the third, and then was replaced at first base in the bottom half. Rockies' manager, Warren Schaeffer, said that Johnston had a bruised right quadriceps and "will be fine." Johnston has been a nice addition to the Colorado lineup as he is hitting .298 (14-for-47) with two home runs, seven RBI, and an .854 OPS through 15 games. Schaeffer may elect to give Johnston the day off on Thursday to have him ready for a four-game series with the Dodgers which begins Friday.
