Dylan Cease goes six strong in tough-luck no-decision Wednesday

by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Thu, Apr 16th 11:15am EDT

Blue Jays right-hander Dylan Cease pitched six scoreless innings, but had to settle for a tough-luck no-decision in an eventual 2-1 loss to the Brewers on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Cease surrendered just two hits and three walks against six strikeouts and was in line for the win until the Brewers tagged reliever Tyler Rogers for two runs in the eighth inning. Nonetheless, it was Cease's first quality start of the season, while he has allowed two runs or fewer in each of his first four starts for the Blue Jays. The veteran will take a tidy 1.74 ERA into his next scheduled start on Monday against the Angels.
