Rangers first baseman Jake Burger came off the bench and delivered a pinch-hit, three-run homer in a 6-5 loss to the Athletics on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Burger was absent from the starting lineup for the first time this season, but he still made an impact with a three-run homer in the eighth inning. The long ball was Burger's fifth of the season and third in as many games. The 30-year-old is enjoying a resurgent season at the plate, hitting .254 with five homers, 15 RBI, and an .805 OPS in 18 games, although his 2.7% BB% and 31.1% K% need some work in order to sustain his current success.
