Kodai Senga shelled in loss to Cubs Friday
by Brenton Kemp | Mets Correspondent | Sat, Apr 18th 11:15am EDT
Mets right-hander Kodai Senga surrendered seven runs (six earned) in just 3 1/3 innings in a loss to the Cubs on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Senga was knocked around for six hits, including two home runs, and three walks in his brief outing on Friday. He struck out three. The rough outing earned the 33-year-old his third loss of the season, while he has yet to enter the win column through four starts. While he sports an ugly 8.83 ERA on the season, his 3.92 xERA, 4.10 xFIP, 26.8% K%, and 4.05 SIERA suggest he has been much better than that, something he will look to prove in his next scheduled start on Thursday against the visiting Twins.
