Robert Suarez nails down first save of the season
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Sun, Apr 19th 9:14am EDT
Robert Suarez struck out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
With the Braves regular closer Raisel Iglesias (shoulder) unavailable, Suarez stepped in to earn his first save of the season Saturday. Suarez was an All-Star closer for the Padres each of the last two seasons, so finishing off games is nothing new for him. Iglesias has not hit the IL, and there's been little indication that he will. If Iglesias were to miss any time, however, Suarez would vault into near top-tier closer status for fantasy purposes.
