Dansby Swanson provides big blow for Cubs in Monday win

by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Tue, Apr 21st 12:20am EDT

Dansby Swanson had one hit in four at bats on Monday, but his lone hit was a three-run home run during a four-run second inning in the Cubs' 5-1 win over Philadelphia.

Fantasy Impact:

Swanson connected for his fifth home run of the season on a 2-2 pitch from Phillies' starter Aaron Nola with two outs in the bottom of the second. The Cubs' shortstop is now 5-for-15 (.333) with seven runs scored, three home runs, and seven RBI in five games against Philadelphia pitching this season. Against all other teams, Swanson is just 9-for-58 (.155) with two home runs and eight RBI in 17 contests. He'll look to continue to torment Phillies' pitching on Tuesday.
