Jose Quintana struggles Monday against Dodgers
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Tue, Apr 21st 12:38am EDT
Jose Quintana was able to get through five innings on Monday, but he allowed six runs (four earned) on eight hits in a 12-3 loss to the Dodgers. The lefthander walked one and struck out one.
Fantasy Impact:
Quintana served up two home runs in his outing as Max Muncy and Miguel Rojas went back-to-back in the top of the second inning. The veteran lefthander has struggled mightily in three starts this season and is 0-2 with a 6.23 ERA in 13 innings. He's allowed 15 hits and has a 4:9 K:BB ratio. It's probably best to leave him on waivers, even in deeper leagues.
