Reynaldo Lopez lasts just one inning Tuesday

Reynaldo Lopez suffered the loss on Tuesday after allowing four runs on five hits and three walks in the first inning of the Braves' 11-4 loss to the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Lopez fell to 1-1 on the season after enduring a disastrous first inning on Tuesday. The righthander has not pitched more than five innings over his last four starts and has really struggled early in his last two outings. After pitching to a 1.15 ERA in his first three starts, Lopez has allowed eight runs - seven earned - on 10 hits and a 7:6 K:BB ratio in six innings over his last two outings. The righthander now has a 3.74 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP this season and is tentatively scheduled to pitch again on Sunday against the Phillies. However, Didier Fuentes was called up to start on Wednesday, so his start may get pushed back to early next week. Lopez' recent struggles are adding to the difficult decisions the Braves may have to make to their rotation over the next few days, especially with Fuentes called up and Spencer Strider (oblique) coming back soon. Stay tuned.
