Connelly Early Roughed Up by Stanton
by Bruno Mulé | Red Sox Correspondent | Wed, Apr 22nd 9:53am EDT
Early took the loss Tuesday against New York, surrendering three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four across 5.1 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Stanton was the entire story, leading off the second with a solo homer and adding a two-run double in the sixth — accounting for all three runs. Early otherwise kept the lineup in check and has been solid through five starts, carrying a 2.88 ERA and a 24:13 K:BB ratio over 25 innings. He lines up for a Sunday road start against Baltimore.
