Max Fried flirts with shutout against Red Sox
by Chris Schommer | Yankees Correspondent | Thu, Apr 23rd 1:48pm EDT
Max Fried allowed three hits and two walks while striking out nine over eight scoreless innings in Wednesday’s 4-1 win over the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Fried has offered mixed results on the mound, allowing three earned runs or less in three of six starts. The left-hander remains an elite starting option while leading a Yankees rotation missing Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) for manager Aaron Boone, carrying a 2.40 ERA and 0.77 WHIP with a 3-1 record and 3.2 K/BB ratio through six starts.
