Andrew Painter allowed five earned runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out one over 5 2/3 innings in Friday's 5-3 loss to Atlanta.

After Friday's loss to the Braves, Painter now has a 5.25 ERA and 1.50 WHIP through five outings (four starts). The rookie right-hander had an impressive debut back on March 31, but he has struggled with consistency in his subsequent four appearances, posting a 6.27 ERA over 18 2/3 innings.
