Reds second baseman Matt McLain went 2-for-4 with a pair of two-run home runs in a 9-8 win over the Tigers on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Homerless on the season entering Friday's game, McLain took Tigers starter Framber Valdez deep in the fifth inning before getting to reliever Will Vest for a game-tying long ball in the seventh. He also drew a walk in the contest, raising his walk rate to a healthy 14.3% on the season. After a slow start, McLain's bat is starting to come around as he owns a .213/.339/.330 slash line with four stolen bases across 26 games on the season.
