Chase Dollander pitches seven scoreless innings Sunday
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Mon, Apr 27th 12:49am EDT
Chase Dollander allowed just five hits, walked two, and struck out seven in seven scoreless innings as the Rockies blanked the Mets, 3-0, to complete a doubleheader sweep on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Dollander made his first start of the season in game two of Sunday's doubleheader and went a season-long seven innings to earn his second victory of the season. He threw a season-high 103 pitches in the second scoreless outing in his last three games. Over his last three appearances, Dollander has allowed one run on nine hits in 18.1 innings (0.49 ERA) while walking five and striking out 25. All told, he is 2-2 with a 2.25 ERA and a 34:7 K:BB ratio in 28 innings. Dollander should be owned in most formats at this point as he is on a roll right now. However, he has a tough home matchup with the Braves on Saturday.
