A.J. Ewing promoted to Triple-A

A big-league call-up in the second half is possible if Ewing continues to produce at Syracuse. He raised his walk rate from 5.5 percent across 28 games at Binghamton in 2025 to 21.2 percent this season, slashing .349/.481/.571 with a 12-for-13 stolen base clip across 81 plate appearances in 18 games. Ewing ranked fourth in the minors with 70 steals across three stops in 2025 and is considered one of the top prospects in the Mets organization. (Anthony DiComo)
