The Blue Jays placed Max Scherzer on the 15-day injured list with right forearm tendinitis and left ankle inflammation. (Hazel Mae on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer is coming off allowing seven runs over 2 1/3 innings in his latest start against the Guardians. He'll be down for at least a few weeks. Toronto is expected to get Trey Yesavage back from the injured list on Tuesday.
