Ezequiel Tovar goes 0-for-4 Tuesday as slump continues

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Wed, Apr 29th 12:07am EDT

Ezequiel Tovar went 0-for-4 with a strikeout during Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Tovar's 0-for-4 night was his third straight game - and eighth time in the last nine games - that he has not recorded a hit. He is in the midst of a massive slump as he is just 5-for-49 (.103) with no home runs, no RBI, and no stolen bases over his last 15 games. Just two seasons ago, Tovar belted 26 home runs for the Rockies, but that number decreased to just nine last year. This year, Tovar is hitting .193 with just one home run and a 34:3 K:BB ratio in 109 at bats.
