Chase Burns allowed two earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out nine over six innings in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Rockies.

Burns was sharp enough to make Coors look normal for a night on Tuesday. The young righty has been nothing short of sensational through his first six starts of the season, as he now sports a 2.65 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 39 strikeouts across 34 innings. Burns should return to the mound Sunday in Pittsburgh.
