Bryan Reynolds doubles twice in Thursday loss

Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two runs batted in, but the Pirates suffered a 10-5 loss to the Cardinals on Thursday. Reynolds also walked once.

Reynolds doubled twice on Thursday, including a two-run two-bagger off of Cardinals' reliever, Justin Bruihl, in the fifth inning. Reynolds is off to a bit of a slow start, especially in the power department, as his two doubles on Thursday were just his seventh and eighth extra-base hits of the year (four doubles, one triple, three home runs). Overall, he is slashing .246/.387/.377 through 31 games this season.
