Brandon Lowe hits eighth home run of season Thursday

Brandon Lowe went 2-for-5 with a double and a solo home run on Thursday during the Pirates' 10-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

Lowe snapped an 11-game homerless drought with his solo home run in the seventh inning off of Cardinals' reliever, JoJo Romero. It was Lowe's eighth blast of the year, tying him for 10th in the National League. Lowe has gone 4-for-11 (.364) with three doubles and a home run in his last three games after going 3-for-26 (.115) in his previous six contests. He's hitting .252 overall with eight home runs and 20 RBI in his first season in Pittsburgh.
