Melton has yet to pitch for the Detroit Tigers this season after an impressive rookie year in which he posted a 2.76 ERA and 1.01 WHIP across 45.2 innings due to right elbow inflammation. He is expected to make multiple rehab appearances before being reinstated from the injured list, and is currently on track to return in late May or early June.
