Kervin Castro has been called up to the Yankees' roster from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He should be available out of the bullpen on Friday in Milwaukee. (Francys Romero on X)

Castro made 11 appearances with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season and was 1-0 with two saves and a 3.14 ERA. Last year with the RailRiders, Castro had a 1.53 ERA in 35 appearances, allowing only 27 hits while striking out 52 in 47 innings. He has not pitched in the majors since 2022, posting a 10.22 ERA in 10 appearances with the Cubs and Giants.
