Chris Sale strikes out seven in Friday's loss
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Sat, May 9th 9:27am EDT
Chris Sale allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and no walks while striking out seven across seven innings in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
Sale didn't necessarily deserve his second loss of the season with an effort like this, but the Braves' offense was shut down Friday night. Sale has been pitching at an elite level through eight starts, posting a 2.20 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and 50-9 K/BB ratio across 43 innings. He will return to the mound Thursday against the Cubs.
