Nico Hoerner went 2-for-4 with a double, a single, and a walk on Sunday as the Cubs were blanked by the Rangers, 3-0.
Fantasy Impact:
The Cubs were limited to three hits all afternoon by Jacob deGrom and Jacob Latz - and Hoerner had two of them. His double to lead off the fourth inning was Chicago's first hit of the day against deGrom. It was Hoerner's 12th double of the season, moving him into a tie for second in the National League. He added a single and a stolen base in the sixth - his eighth steal of the year. He is batting .278 with four home runs, 28 RBI, and eight steals in 40 games this season.
