Jacob Lopez allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out two over five innings in Thursday’s 5-4 loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Lopez has struggled to miss opposing bats of late allowing three or more runs in two of his last three starts. The left-hander remains one of the more frustrating options in the Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 5.80 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with a 3-2 record and 1.11 K/BB ratio through nine appearances.
