Grayson Rodriguez roughed up in season debut Sunday

by David Leisering | Angels Correspondent | Mon, May 18th 12:36am EDT

Grayson Rodriguez made his season debut on Sunday and was charged with seven runs on seven hits over 3.2 innings in a 10-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodriguez made his first big league start since July 31, 2024 as a member of the Orioles and was welcomed back rudely by the Dodgers. Rodriguez allowed two runs in the second and then surrendered five runs in the fourth as he allowed 11 baserunners while recording 11 outs. All seven of the hits he allowed were singles and he did issue four walks while also striking out four. He threw 79 pitches in his debut so, if there was any pitch count restriction, it was minimal. He'll look to shake this one off and regroup against the Rangers on Friday in his next scheduled start.
