by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Tue, May 19th 6:27am EDT

Nolan Arenado hit a first-inning grand slam - his only hit in four at bats - to lift the Diamondbacks to a 12-2 victory over the Giants on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Arenado belted his seventh career grand slam off of Giants' starter, Robbie Ray, to get the Arizona offense on the board in the first inning. It was his first home run since May 8 against the Mets and it was his seventh of the season across 44 games. The veteran is having a solid first season in the desert, slashing .272/.347/.463 with 25 runs scored and 25 runs batted in.
