Lopez has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing four earned runs or more in two of his last four starts. The left-hander remains difficult to trust in the Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 6.14 ERA and 1.80 WHIP with a 3-2 record and 1.07 K/BB ratio across 10 appearances.
