Kyle Freeland earns no-decision Wednesday
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Wed, May 20th 11:11pm EDT
Kyle Freeland lasted 4.2 innings on Wednesday and gave up three runs on seven hits, walked two, and struck out four in a no-decision against the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Freeland's outing on Wednesday was actually his best performance since coming back from the injured list on April 28. He did serve up a pair of homers on Wednesday and has now allowed seven in 17.2 innings in May, but the three runs he gave up were the fewest he has allowed since April 12. Prior to his stint on the IL, Freeland was 1-1 with a 2.30 ERA in three starts. Since his return, the veteran is 0-4 with a 10.32 ERA, allowing 26 runs on 38 hits in 22.2 innings. He's scheduled to take on the Dodgers, in Los Angeles, on Monday.
