Andrew Alvarez did enough to keep the Mets quiet, though the two-run blemish kept it from being a clean line in an 8-4 win.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarez allowed two earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out five over four innings in Wednesday's win over the Mets. After the outing, he owns a 3.18 ERA and 0.88 WHIP with an 11.9 K/9, 2.16 FIP and 7.50 K:BB, along with a 1-0 record. He was able to save the rest of the bullpen and close out the win for his first save of the season.
