Shota Imanaga hit hard again Sunday in loss to Houston

Shota Imanaga allowed seven runs on seven hits in six innings on Sunday as the Cubs suffered an 8-5 loss to the Astros.

Imanaga walked one and struck out six in suffering his third consecutive loss. He served up three home runs on the day - including a three-run shot to Christian Walker as part of a five-run fifth inning by the Astros. Imanaga started the year by allowing 14 earned runs total in his first nine starts of the season. However, in his last two outings, the lefthander has given up 15 earned runs on 16 hits, including five home runs, in 10.1 innings to see his ERA rise from 2.32 to 4.04. Imanaga will look to right the ship on Friday in a road matchup against the Cardinals.
