Troy Melton earns win in first start of season Sunday versus Orioles

Tigers right-hander Troy Melton allowed just one earned run across 5 2/3 innings in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Orioles, earning his first win of the season in the process.
Fantasy Impact:
Melton had been sidelined since suffering an elbow injury in spring training, but showed no signs of rust on Sunday, narrowly missing a quality start in his first outing of the season. Melton surrendered just two hits while walking three against a trio of strikeouts as part of his 79 pitches on the evening. The Tigers desperately needed this from Melton as he should hold down a rotation spot for the time being, with his next scheduled outing likely to come next weekend in Chicago against the White Sox.
