Erik Sabrowski (elbow) has been placed on the injured list by the Cleveland Guardians due to left elbow inflammation. In a corresponding move, Codi Heuer has been recalled from Triple-A Columbus. (Zack Meisel on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Sabrowski, who has not pitched since last Wednesday, has been sensational out of the Guardians' bullpen this season, pitching to a 1.71 ERA with a Major League-leading 17 holds in 25 appearances. The lefthander has held opponents to a .101 batting average, allowing just seven hits with a 39:13 K:BB ratio in 21 innings. It's a big blow to the Guardians' late-inning relief corps as he has been one of baseball's best relievers through the first two months of the season.
