Wilber Dotel earns first career victory Monday against Cubs

Wilbert Dotel tossed three scoreless innings on Monday to earn his first career victory as the Pirates defeated the Cubs, 2-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Dotel allowed only one hit and struck out four in his three innings of relief of starter, Carmen Mlodzinski. The righthander needed only 41 pitches - 28 strikes - to retire nine of the ten batters he faced. Dotel looks like he is primed to be a key part of the Pirates' bullpen moving forward as the unit, on a whole, has struggled as of late. He's had two separate stints in Pittsburgh this season and, in five appearances, has pitched to a 1.69 ERA with a 10:3 K:BB ratio across 10.2 innings.
