Ian Happ homers for third straight game Friday

by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Sat, May 30th 10:22am EDT

Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run on Friday in the Cubs' 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

Happ wasted no time getting the Cubs on the board as he belted a three-run homer in the first inning off of Cardinals' starter, Andre Pallante. He has now homered in three straight games and is up to 13 home runs on the season - tied for sixth-most in the National League. It's his second three-game homer streak of the year, also achieving the feat from March 28-30. Happ is on a modest four-game hitting streak, but is 8-for-19 (.421) with three homers and 11 runs batted in over that span.
