Grant Holmes was tagged for three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five over 4 2/3 innings in Friday's 8-3 win over the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Holmes held the Reds' bats down over the first three innings of Friday's start, but he surrendered two runs in the fourth and was charged with another after he exited the game in the fifth. The 30-year-old righty's ERA remains at a respectable 3.95 for the season, and he's registered 53 punchouts across 57 innings. On the flip side, his fantasy value has been limited by a 1.33 WHIP and the fact that he's only worked beyond five frames four times through 11 starts.
