Framber Valdez hit with loss Saturday versus White Sox
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Sun, May 31st 11:01am EDT
Tigers left-hander Framber Valdez allowed four earned runs across 6 2/3 innings while taking the loss Saturday against the White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez wasn't terrible in this one, as he was in line for a quality start before allowing a home run and an additional run in the seventh inning before getting the hook. He allowed six hits and two walks while striking out four on the afternoon. The former Astros ace hasn't quite been himself in his first season with the Tigers, putting forth a 4.39 ERA through his first 12 starts with his new team. He next lines up to take on the Mariners at home on Friday.
