by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Wed, Jun 3rd 9:32pm EDT
Tigers catcher Jake Rogers went 2-for-3 with a homer in a 7-2 win over the Rays on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Rogers connected for a solo home run off of Rays starter Nick Martinez in the second inning before adding a single in the sixth. The 31-year-old has shown power in the past, with 21 home runs in the 2023 season, but has now settled into a backup role behind emerging star backstop Dillon Dingler in Detroit. The veteran is slashing just .167/.242/.296 with one homer, five runs, five RBI, and a stolen base through 63 plate appearances on the season.
