Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI in a 7-2 win over the Rays on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Dingler started as the designated hitter in a day game following a night game to keep his white-hot bat in the lineup, and he delivered an RBI single to start the scoring in the first inning before launching a three-run homer in the fourth. The long ball set a new career high with 14, surpassing last year's total of 13 in 70 fewer games. It was also his third homer over his last three games and fourth over his last five. The breakout star is now slashing .241/.323/.507 with 14 homers, 28 runs, and 43 RBI through 230 trips to the plate on the season.
