Troy Melton goes eight innings, earns win over Rays Wednesday

Tigers right-hander Troy Melton allowed two earned runs across eight innings while earning the win over the Rays on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Melton began the season on the 60-day injured list with an elbow injury, but has been excellent since returning. On Wednesday, he allowed just four hits and two walks while striking out five on 94 pitches in eight innings of work. Melton will now carry a 1.74 ERA and 0.87 WHIP into his next scheduled start on Wednesday at home against the Twins.
