Blue Jays catcher Brandon Valenzuela went 1-for-3 with a home run in a 13-3 loss to the Orioles on Friday.

In a tough night for the Blue Jays, Valenzuela was able to club his sixth home run of the season, a two-run homer in the sixth inning that actually put the Blue Jays up 3-1 at the time in what ended in a blowout loss. The 25-year-old has proven he is a big leaguer at this point, as he is slashing .234/.325/.423 with six homers, 15 runs, 13 RBI, one stolen base, and a 112 wRC+ through his first 41 big league contests.
