Trey Yesavage roughed up in loss to Orioles Friday
by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sat, Jun 6th 11:48am EDT
Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage allowed six earned runs across 5 2/3 innings against the Orioles on Friday, taking the loss in the process.
Fantasy Impact:
After Adley Rutschman homered off of him in the first inning, Yesavage held the Orioles scoreless for the next four innings. However, he imploded in the sixth, allowing a Rutschman two-RBI double, a Jerimiah Jackson RBI single, and a Coby Mayo two-run homer before exiting the contest. The young right-hander saw his ERA rise to 3.16 in the outing, while his 4.17 xFIP and 4.08 SIERA suggest that regression was indeed due. Yesavage lines up to take on the Phillies at home on Wednesday.
