Tigers outfielder Kerry Carpenter went 1-for-5 with a home run in a 10-4 win over the Twins on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Carpenter had just one hit on the evening, but made it count with a two-run laser home run into the right field seats in the fifth inning to regain the lead for the Tigers. The 28-year-old has flexed some muscle since returning from a shoulder injury, as he has three homers, a double, and seven RBI over his last six games. For the season, Carpenter is slashing .230/.301/.500 with nine homers, 14 runs, and 24 RBI through 143 plate appearances on the season.
