Chris Sale pitches well, gets little support in Wednesday's loss
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Thu, Jun 11th 8:42am EDT
Chris Sale allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out six over 5 2/3 innings in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Back in his original home field, Sale was on the losing side of a pitcher's duel against White Sox righty Davis Martin on Wednesday night. Sale was not at his most dominant form, but he pitched well enough to win. Still, the ace lefty dropped to 8-5 to go with an excellent 2.30 ERA and 28.8 K% through 13 starts on the year.
