The Tigers have activated right-hander Kenley Jansen from the 15-day IL ahead of Friday's series opener against the Guardians. (Tigers PR on Twitter)

Jansen hit the IL on May 28 and struggled in his rehab outing on Wednesday, allowing three runs on two hits, a walk, and a wild pitch. He has also struggled on the mound in his first year with the Tigers, posting a 4.80 ERA across 18 outings while going just 7-for-11 in save opportunities.
