Freddy Fermin exited during the sixth inning of Saturday’s 9-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles due to a head injury. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Fermin was hit by a warmup pitch from Yuki Matsui before the start of the bottom of the sixth inning. San Diego Padres manager Craig Stammen said the team will be cautious with Fermin, as he was previously removed from an April 15 game after being struck in the catcher’s mask. He will be evaluated for a concussion.
